About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside nursing and medical staff to provide clinical skills and individualized care to patients with complex health needs.
  • Accurately record, collate, and monitor patient information, providing feedback to the Team Leader and/or Care Manager as necessary.
  • Assist in the delivery of planned nursing care for patients, ensuring that nursing practices are maintained in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and sensitivity to the individual needs of patients and their families.
  • Perform duties with a high level of professionalism, politeness, and friendliness.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in a related subject or NVQ Level 2 with significant experience.
  • Care Certificate or completion of Care Certificate in post.
  • Completed clinical competencies for clinical tasks and procedures as appropriate.
  • Experience working in a clinical environment.
Person Specification
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Polite, friendly, approachable, and self-motivated.
