Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Support Worker to join our dynamic team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our Dermatology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Report any concerns or changes in patient condition to parents/carers and trained nurses.
  • Recognize and respond to urgent and emergency situations.
  • Assist with the transfer and escort of patients as needed.
  • Inform trained nurses of any delegated tasks beyond your skill level.
  • Contribute to the development of services and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Manage and maintain equipment according to Wirral NHS guidelines.
  • Participate in patient and public involvement activities.

Person Specification
  • NVQ Level 3 in a related subject or NVQ Level 2 with significant experience.

  • Experience working in a clinical environment.
