Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist to join our dynamic Medicinal Chemistry team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and synthesizing novel Bicycle molecules and conjugates, with a focus on developing lead candidates for our oncology pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Synthesis: Develop and execute synthetic strategies for novel Bicycle molecules and conjugates, with a focus on optimizing chemical properties and biological activity.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage external resources, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate research findings and progress to project teams, management, and external partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex synthetic and analytical challenges, leveraging expertise in medicinal chemistry and structural biology.
  • Intellectual Property and Patent Strategy: Contribute to the development of patent filings and journal manuscripts, ensuring the protection and dissemination of our innovative research.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry or a related field, with a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern synthetic organic chemistry techniques, including peptide chemistry, structure-based design, and computational modeling.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
