Pipework Contracts Lead

On Line Group (OLG) is seeking a seasoned Pipework Contracts Manager to join our Operations team. You will play a pivotal role in guiding the entire project lifecycle for specific jobs and projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy, objectives, and goals.

A key aspect of this role involves cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities to drive continuous revenue growth for the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their project requirements effectively.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business ventures to ensure sustainable expansion for the company.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Provide concise and unambiguous direction regarding project quality standards.
  • Develop accurate quotations and estimates for work scopes, outlining resource requirements.
  • Lead the planning and execution of work scopes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with the team to assemble and manage a skilled project workforce.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring meticulous accounting, costing, and billing practices.
  • Monitor project progress using appropriate tools and effectively manage any changes that arise.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team, reporting on progress regularly.
  • Assist in recruiting and managing specialized personnel and subcontractors.
Key Skills
  • Extensive background in piping fabrication and installation.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating success in project management.
  • A track record of securing new business opportunities and expanding client portfolios.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate estimates and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety and Quality standards.
