About the Role:

On Line Group is seeking an experienced Pipeworks Contracts Manager to join our Operations team in Grimsby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall direction of specific projects, ensuring consistency with our company strategy, objectives, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project requirements.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities to drive growth and sustainability for the company.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Provide clear direction on project quality requirements.
  • Manage quotations and estimates for work scopes, defining resource requirements.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of work scopes.
  • Liaise with the team to assemble and coordinate project staff.
  • Manage project budget, ensuring accurate accounting, costing, and billing.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and manage project change.
  • Provide direction and support to project teams and report progress accordingly.
  • Assist in recruiting and managing specialists and sub-contractors.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong background in piping fabrication and installation.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Evidence of work-winning and securing new client bases.
  • Proven track record of managing existing client portfolios.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing estimates and negotiating orders.
  • Strong Health & Safety and Quality ethic.
  • Flexibility to navigate ambiguity and effectively manage changing priorities.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to recognise customer requirements.
