About the Role

On Line Group is seeking an experienced Pipeworks Contracts Manager to join our Operations team in Grimsby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall direction of specific projects, ensuring consistency with our company strategy, objectives, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project requirements
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities to drive growth and sustainability for the company
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Provide clear direction on project quality requirements
  • Manage quotations and estimates for work scopes, defining resource requirements
  • Lead the planning and implementation of work scopes
  • Liaise with the team to assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget, ensuring accurate accounting, costing, and billing
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and manage project change
  • Provide direction and support to project teams and report progress
  • Assist in recruiting and managing specialists and sub-contractors

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strong background in piping fabrication and installation
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Evidence of work-winning and securing new client bases
  • Proven track record of managing client portfolios
  • Demonstrable experience in producing estimates and negotiating orders
  • Strong Health & Safety and Quality ethic
  • Flexibility to navigate ambiguity and manage changing priorities
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognise customer requirements
