On Line Group is seeking an experienced Pipeworks Contracts Manager to join our Operations team in Grimsby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall direction of specific jobs and projects, ensuring consistency with our company strategy, objectives, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project requirements.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities to drive growth and sustainability for the company.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Provide clear and concise direction on project quality requirements.
- Manage quotations and estimates for work scopes, defining resource requirements.
- Lead the planning and implementation of work scopes.
- Liaise with the team to assemble and coordinate appropriate project staff.
- Manage project budget, ensuring accurate accounting, costing, and billing.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and manage project change.
- Provide direction and support to project team and report progress accordingly.
- Assist in recruiting and managing specialists and sub-contractors.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong background in piping fabrication and installation.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Evidence of work winning.
- Proven track record of securing a new client base and managing an existing client portfolio.
- Demonstrable experience in producing estimates and negotiating orders.
- Strong Health & Safety and Quality ethic.
- Flexibility to navigate ambiguity and effectively manage changing priorities.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to recognise customer requirements.
- Good planning and analytical skills, assertive, and articulate.
