Job Summary:
Willings Care is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Deputy Hospital Director to play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of our client's Hospital, specialising in Learning Disability and Autism care. The ideal candidate will have a robust nursing background and a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional care while ensuring the seamless operations of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive clinical and managerial leadership to our esteemed nursing team, ensuring unwavering adherence to best practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Hospital Director to develop and execute strategic plans for the facility, with a primary focus on enhancing quality and ensuring paramount patient safety.
- Assume responsibility for the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of nursing personnel, ensuring an environment conducive to professional growth and compassionate care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures aimed at optimizing care delivery and fostering a secure, inclusive, and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional advancement among the nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of expertise and dedication to patient care.
- Serve as a liaison between various departments to facilitate effective communication and seamless collaboration, thus ensuring streamlined operations and exceptional patient experiences.
Requirements:
- Nursing qualification (RGN, RMN, RNLD) and a valid UK NMC Pin.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management capacity within a mental health hospital setting or similar environment, showcasing exemplary skills in team management and performance optimization.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines in nursing, combined with a proven track record of their consistent implementation.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, essential for fostering a nurturing and efficient healthcare environment.
