Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Transformation and Operations Director to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across all company production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive Production manufacturing strategy to align with global business goals and support future growth.
  2. Lead initiatives to enhance resilience across the production portfolio, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Optimize production systems to achieve significant cost reductions and secure future production contracts.
  4. Manage a £50 million capital investment portfolio focused on modernizing production infrastructure and tooling.
  5. Foster strong relationships with Service Delivery Units (SDUs) and other key stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and functional alignment.
  6. Provide leadership and governance within the Production Operations Senior Management Team, including mentoring and performance management of direct reports.

Requirements

  1. Proven leadership experience in managing large, multidisciplinary teams in high-rate manufacturing environments.
  2. Extensive experience in developing and executing manufacturing strategies that drive operational excellence and transformation.
  3. Strong background in managing large capital investment projects and modernizing production infrastructure.
  4. Ability to optimize production systems while achieving cost reductions and maintaining high-quality standards.
  5. Experience leading strategic transformation initiatives that align with global business ambitions.
  6. Excellent relationship management skills for effective collaboration with senior leadership, customers, and suppliers.
  7. Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with a deep understanding of production operations and their integration within a global business context.
  8. A proven CI / Lean background in a global manufacturing company.

What We Offer

£85,000 to £95,000 plus car / car allowance, bonus and benefits.
