Key Responsibilities:
  1. Production Facility Enablement and Readiness: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to prepare production facilities for optimal output and future operations, ensuring safety, training, and maintenance.
  2. Deputise for the Production Director: Oversee daily decision-making, ensure production facilities are running at optimal efficiency, coordinate with other departments, and handle emergencies or unexpected scenarios.
  3. Manufacturing Expertise and Project Management: Leverage in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes to plan and execute OPEX and CAPEX projects, collaborating with and leading cross-functional teams.
  4. CI and Transformation Projects: Lead CI projects and identify areas of improvement to enhance the facility's transformation capabilities.
  5. Awareness of LSS/Kaizen: Focus on transformation and enablement, with a strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles.
  6. Process Improvement: Analyze production processes, implement efficiency improvements, and negotiate new deals with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  7. Customer Interface: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  8. Communication: Foster regular communication with employees at all levels to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  9. Board-Level Communication: Effectively communicate with senior management and the board.
