Our Birmingham Division
Our Birmingham division is a 124-bed adult mental health facility located in Stirchley. It comprises units offering both medium and low security services, with six wards dedicated to men's care and two for women.
The Role: Senior Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a registered senior clinician, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive occupational therapy services within a secure setting.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to individuals with diverse mental health conditions.
- Conducting thorough occupational assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Supervising junior staff, fostering professional development, and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Promoting the value of occupational therapy within the healthcare setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in an adult mental health setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in working within secure environments.
- Experience in clinical supervision and mentorship.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
