About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Eden Acute Ward, a male acute inpatient ward within Erdington.
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with complex mental health presentations. Your expertise will focus on enhancing occupational performance, risk management, and evaluating outcomes aligned with personalized care plans.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized and group-based programs of clinical intervention in collaboration with OT assistants, activity workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate effectively with the Senior Occupational Therapist, Band 7 Occupational Therapist, Ward Manager, Occupational Therapy Lead Acute Lead, Matron, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Contribute to the day-to-day decision-making on the ward and participate in designated supervision responsibilities.
- Lead various individual projects, quality initiatives, and service developments that support the trust's strategic goals.
