Job Title: Control Room Operative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control Room Operative to join our team at Focus Resourcing.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, working closely with the maintenance team to maintain plant uptime and optimize production levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the RDF production team to ensure checks are in place and the plant is running efficiently.
  • Effectively run the MBT process to ensure the plant is optimized for production.
  • Complete and sign off level 1 maintenance tasks.
  • Provide support to the MBT night cleaning team.
  • Liaise with the maintenance team to maintain plant uptime.
  • Carry out regular walkover inspections of the facility and equipment.
  • Report all safety or environmental issues to Management.
  • Operate the MBT process ensuring reception pits are emptied daily.
  • Ensure that the MBT drying halls are cleaned and ready for the following day's production.
Benefits:
  • £14.25 per hour.

Requirements:
  • Experience working on a production line is preferred.
  • Any experience in the waste, recycling industry is beneficial.
  • Good basic IT skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to clearly communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to organize a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to task.
