Rooms Controller - Marriott Grosvenor Square
Join us as Rooms Controller Develop into a key member of the Front Office team, collaborating with all departments to create superior guest experience by ensuring preferences and requests are met. Resolve challenges as a team and continuously seek improving operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically assign rooms to meet guest expectations and maximise category availability. Change allocation during shift with immediate communication to all involved to ensure smooth service.
- Work seamlessly with Housekeeping and Engineering to expedite/queue rooms prior to guaranteed check-in time. Prioritise and organise room moves throughout the shift.
- Update reservation system to ensure accurate availability, strictly control OO rooms to maximise sale potential.
- Update billing instructions on reservations and verify charges.
- Lead and complete projects to improve daily operations and guest experience.
Key Requirements
- Opera knowledge strongly preferred.
- Keen interest to work within a team and help colleagues.
- Ability to stay calm during high volume days and willingness to surpass obstacles.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Meet shift patterns - AM & PM, including weekends.
