Reception & Locker Room Assistant

As a key member of our team at Selfridges, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Oxford Street store. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to our team members and visitors, processing them efficiently and effectively to their desired destination.

The role encompasses both reception and locker room duties, requiring you to be highly organized, personable, and able to multitask with ease. You will be responsible for directing visitors, issuing visitor/team member badges, and maintaining a safe and clean reception area.

In the locker room, you will be responsible for directing team members, managing the overflow and oversized baggage drop location, and controlling and managing our state-of-the-art locker system. You will also be the point of contact for team members, providing advice, directions, and staff welfare-related issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior training in administrative and clerical procedures, knowledge of customer service principles and practices, and a good working knowledge of computer systems, specifically MS Office suite software. Previous experience in reception or concierge service is essential, and luxury retail knowledge is advantageous.
