Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reception & Locker Room Assistant at Selfridges. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the reception area, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming customers and team members, providing directions, and answering inquiries
  • Maintaining a safe and clean reception area, adhering to procedures and regulations
  • Issuing visitor and team member badges, and controlling access to the store
  • Managing the locker room, including dry cleaning, bag storage, and team member facilities
  • Directing team members and visitors around the store, ensuring efficient navigation
  • Reporting defects and issues to the property helpdesk

Requirements

  • Administrative and clerical training, with knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Experience in reception or concierge service, with prior training on telephony systems
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems, specifically MS Office suite software
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
