Reception & Locker Room Assistant

At Selfridges, we're looking for a highly organized and personable individual to join our team as a Reception & Locker Room Assistant. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our team members and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors and team members, answering inquiries, and directing them to their destinations
  • Assisting with building security, issuing visitor/team member badges, and maintaining a safe and clean reception area
  • Managing the locker room, including directing team members, managing overflow and oversized baggage, and controlling the state-of-the-art locker system
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to queries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Working closely with the property helpdesk to ensure staff member facilities are maintained to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in reception or concierge service
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems, specifically MS Office suite software
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a personable, friendly demeanor
