Complex Care Assistant

Join our dedicated team as a Complex Care Assistant, providing essential support to a young individual with intricate care requirements. This role is offered on a casual or bank contract basis, allowing for flexible working hours.
Compensation:
Earn £75 per hour on weekdays and £19.75 on weekends, with the opportunity to work up to three shifts per week.
Role Responsibilities:
The Complex Care Assistant will be responsible for:
1. Delivering comprehensive support in all aspects of care, including medical needs such as suctioning and PEG feeding.
2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
3. Assisting in daily routines and activities, providing structure and predictability for the client.
4. Engaging in play and therapeutic activities to promote well-being and development.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Prior experience in supporting young individuals with complex medical conditions, particularly those with epilepsy and seizures.
- A compassionate and patient approach to care, with the ability to anticipate needs.
- Willingness to undergo bespoke training in specific care techniques.
Team Dynamics:
