Strategic Finance Partner - UCAS

The Strategic Finance Partner will deliver a commercially driven finance partnering service across UCAS and its subsidiaries, playing a crucial role in supporting the execution of the UCAS strategy. This position aims to provide an exceptional finance business partnering experience, guiding and influencing senior management in achieving corporate financial objectives while enhancing financial literacy throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance Collaboration
  • Assist and advise the business unit Directors and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on all financial matters, ensuring informed financial decision-making.
  • Deliver financial insights and analyses, constructively challenging SLT to support the achievement of financial goals.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying potential risks and opportunities while proposing effective solutions.
  • Promote initiatives and transformations within the organization to enhance efficiency and foster financial and commercial understanding.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • ACCA / CIMA part qualified or higher.
  • Relevant experience in a comparable role.
  • Ability to influence and question assumptions confidently.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to present financial information clearly.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

Package:

Salary - up to £40,000 - Fixed Term Contract - 18 Months
