About the Company
Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with a rapidly growing and progressive manufacturing group to recruit a driven and dynamic Finance Business Partner to join their team. Reporting to the Head Of Finance, the purpose of this role is to support operational colleagues in providing first-class financial information, allowing them to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with Supply Chain, Operations, and Planning functions to take joint ownership with the business for the delivery of financial targets.
- Prepare Inventory and Indirect cost projections to support the Forecasting and Budget cycles.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of the financial data through month-end responsibilities.
- Analyze variances between Actuals, Prior Year, Budget, and Forecast, and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Guide and support site leadership teams by challenging them to test decision-making and contribute to monthly business reporting.
- Maintain cost controls and identify areas of weakness to minimize risk.
- Play an influential role in relevant management meetings and evaluate make vs buy decisions.
Requirements
- At least part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience within a similar position.
- Strong MS Excel skills, ideally with financial modeling or scenario evaluation experience.
- Ability to influence and challenge decisions.
- Experience dealing with inventory and a manufacturing sector background is advantageous.
What You'll Get in Return
This permanent Finance Business Partner role offers a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on experience, and includes competitive benefits such as an annual bonus scheme up to 16%, flexible working hours, 26 days' holiday plus bank, contributed pension scheme, on-site parking, and more.
