Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist

Salary: £32,000

At Norse Group, we collaborate with various public and private sector clients to deliver a comprehensive range of Total Facilities Management services across the Southwest. We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Exeter on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist, you will work in close partnership with the Process and Procedures Manager to support all facets of quality assurance and compliance, ensuring that our operations align with the Group's established policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the management, development, and enhancement of systems across Norse Group.
  • Aiding in the creation of policies, procedures, and user manuals for key systems, and providing support to both new and existing employees as directed by the Process and Procedures Manager.
  • Developing standardized templates, workflows, reports, and process controls within systems to enhance operational practices and move towards a paperless environment.
  • Supporting the overall operation and maintenance of systems such as SafetyCulture, PowerBI, Nayax, Three Square, MCR, and TeamViewer.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to systems and platforms.
  • Collaborating with managers to ensure that all records are accurately maintained and updated.
  • Collecting data to assist in cleansing and creating documentation in partnership with service leads to ensure compliance, service enhancements, and sector-specific analysis.
  • Extracting and generating reporting and management information for various business functions. You will effectively assist the Process and Procedures Manager in planning, directing, and managing all Quality Management System (QMS), Integrated Management System (IMS), and Environmental Management System (EMS) documentation in coordination with the SHEQ Team.
  • Engaging with external providers, stakeholders, Norse Group departments, suppliers, operational staff, and clients as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in IT systems with advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with office systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and administrative abilities to provide effective service to all stakeholders.
  • Capacity to manage and adapt to changing needs and priorities, effectively handling workload and time management.
