Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner - Primary Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Primary Care. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality mental health care to children and young people in Primary Care settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality mental health care to children and young people in Primary Care settings
  • Work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Assess and manage complex mental health cases
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to families and carers
Requirements:
  • Registered mental health professional (NMC, HCPC, etc.)
  • Sound knowledge and skills of Evidence-Based Practice in relation to Children's MH and emotional wellbeing
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both within MDT and independently
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience working in CAMHS or equivalent service
