About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to our multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet the complex needs of our patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our mental health strategies
  • Participate in clinical research and service evaluation to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
  • Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the Specialist Register
  • Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in psychiatry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
