Job Summary:

The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Communications Lead to join our Strategic Communications and Media team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our internal communications and engagement strategy, working closely with colleagues across the organization to support our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communications and engagement strategies to promote our organization's mission, values, and goals.
  • Manage and maintain our internal communications platform, ensuring it is up-to-date and engaging for all employees.
  • Plan and execute events and activities to promote employee engagement and brand advocacy.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement change management communications plans.
  • Manage and analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications and engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal communications management, including change management communications planning.
  • Proven track record of managing intranets or internal communications platforms.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics.
