About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Engagement Manager to lead our efforts in engaging and collaborating with the communities and stakeholders on projects working to decarbonise home heating.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support stakeholder relationships through stakeholder events, forums, or meetings for Future of Energy projects.
- Embed stakeholder and community strategy across Future of Energy teams.
- Scope out issues identified by internal or external stakeholders and develop engagement plans.
- Manage and review stakeholder mapping.
What You'll Need
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of energy and sustainability principles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Technical Skills Knowledge/Experience
- Demonstratable experience of stakeholder/communication knowledge.
- Strong influencing ability.
Desirable Skills
- Project Management, Change Management, Public Relations, Marketing, and Negotiating.
- Energy, Sustainability, or Net Zero Transition.
