About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Dr Kershaws Hospice. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist care to patients with diverse health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical and functional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote optimal physical function and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in the improvement and development of our physiotherapy service, including gathering statistics and promoting a culture of diversity and respect.
  • Engage in clinical teaching and training, and contribute to personal development planning.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working in a hospice or palliative care setting, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of specialist care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of the service.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel to patients' homes as required.
