About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Services Assistant to join our team at Royal Berkshire Hotel. As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the Guest Relations Manager to review and improve the guest journey, responding to feedback and implementing changes as needed.
  • Engage with guests throughout their stay, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and ensuring they feel at home.
  • Support the reception and concierge teams, ensuring seamless communication and a high level of service.
  • Ensure the Front of House team is aware of business in the hotel, using internal communication channels to keep everyone informed.
  • Flag VIPs and ensure their rooms meet hotel standards, providing special amenities and touches as needed.
Requirements
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in fast-paced environments.
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming, with a strong focus on attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Confidence and initiative, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Computer literacy and a clear, friendly telephone manner.
