Job Overview

Allen Lane is seeking a highly skilled Change Manager to support the London Borough of Newham in their Sovereign IT Programme. This key role will focus on driving behavior and culture change within the IT service, ensuring a seamless transition and establishing a positive and inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communications and engagement strategies to ensure clear and effective messaging throughout the transition.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with staff to inform engagement initiatives and assess the impact of culture change initiatives.
  • Create and implement strategies to foster a positive and inclusive culture within the DDaT team, promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Establish and manage a network of change champions across DDaT to drive cultural change.
  • Develop clear and consistent messages for various stakeholders within the organization.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of behavior and culture change principles.
  • Strong knowledge of training and workforce development best practices.
  • Expertise in internal communications and messaging strategies.
  • Understanding of staff engagement techniques and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Ability to lead and drive cultural change across an organization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex messages clearly.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and motivate staff.

What We Offer

A competitive salary between £51,093 - £54,129 (with a pending pay award) plus benefits, including the local government pension scheme and more.
