About the Role

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill the position of Deputy Ward Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of mental health nurses to provide high-quality patient care and support.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients with complex mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with trust policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in leadership and management roles within mental health care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures.
