Deputy Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a small team of colleagues, promoting a positive learning environment and excellence in care.
- Assist the Ward Manager in delivering the unit's objectives, ensuring compliance with organisational and stakeholder requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, working closely with patients and the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
- Support the Ward Manager in managing the ward environment, promoting the principles of recovery and ensuring safe and effective care provision.
- Participate in staff appraisal and clinical supervision, actively contributing to a positive learning environment.
- Experience in an acute mental health setting, with a strong understanding of recovery principles and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and promote a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team, promoting a multi-disciplinary approach to care coordination.
- Confidence in human resource management, with the ability to audit standards of care and deal with performance issues.
