About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to join our team for a full-time, long-term assignment. As a Youth Support Professional, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment for students with complex special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Positive Relationships: Build students' confidence and self-esteem through positive interactions.
  • Support Classroom Activities: Assist the class teacher and support classroom activities to ensure students receive the highest quality education.
  • Provide Individualized Support: Offer 1:1 and small group support to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Requirements
  • Experience Working with SEND: Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS: You must be willing to apply for or already possess an enhanced DBS on the update service.
