Senior Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Surbiton. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people facing various challenges.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to children and young people with autism, multiple learning disabilities, and behavioral issues. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals to create a positive and nurturing environment where individuals can thrive.
Your Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to young people, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and educational pursuits.
- Collaborate with managers and fellow support workers to ensure a harmonious and supportive work environment.
- Implement individualized care plans, promoting independence and enhancing overall well-being.
- Engage in on-site and off-site activities, fostering social interaction and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring clear communication among team members.
- Possess a Level 3 qualification in Social Care or a related field (NVQ 3 is desired).
- Have at least one year of experience in a senior or team-leading role within a similar setting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Be adaptable and able to effectively manage changing situations and priorities.
