Overview of the Position

We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager to foster enduring, trustworthy connections with our clientele. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage a portfolio of designated clients, cultivate new business from current customers, and proactively explore new growth opportunities. Responsibilities in client management encompass building robust relationships with clients, engaging with key business leaders and stakeholders, and formulating strategic account plans. The Client Relationship Manager will also address client inquiries and pinpoint new business prospects among existing accounts. In this capacity, you will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Success, Sales, and Product Development) to enhance the overall client experience. This role may require occasional travel. If you are experienced with client management software (CRM), digital analytics, and possess an understanding of consumer behavior, we would like to connect with you. Ideally, candidates for this position will be adept at achieving ambitious individual retention and growth targets. Ultimately, a successful Client Relationship Manager should work alongside our sales team to meet targets while ensuring our clients remain satisfied and engaged with our offerings over the long term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client account management issues
  • Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to optimize profitability
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, client stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of our solutions in alignment with client needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Generate new business with existing clients and/or identify areas for improvement to achieve sales targets
  • Forecast and monitor key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and expand opportunities within the territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as necessary

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in client management
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS and digital analytics is advantageous
  • Ability to excel in a start-up environment, with proactivity and strategic thinking being essential.
  • Proven track record of engaging with clients to demonstrate the value of enterprise digital analytics solutions
  • Proven history of meeting and surpassing individual revenue objectives
  • Capability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Proven work experience as a Client Relationship Manager or Sales Account Manager or in a similar role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with Salesforce and G Suite/MS Office
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs, including value-based presentations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client management projects simultaneously while maintaining keen attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
  • Industry knowledge in Financial Services, Telecommunications, Insurance, Healthcare, and Retail
  • Experience utilizing data to address business challenges
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Italian is required
