About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Team Leader to join our Luxury Operations team at William Grant & Sons. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results in luxury packaging and wet/dry goods warehousing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve key performance indicators, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, BRC, Environmental, and Customs regulations, and proactively address safety risks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operational Planning: Support the development and execution of short and long-term plans for packaging and distribution, aligned with company objectives and strategic goals.
  • Process Improvement: Create and implement improvement plans to enhance operating costs and efficiency, ensuring successful execution and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Management: Ensure product quality meets standards by maintaining compliant processes, equipment, and training, and provide support and training to staff as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Financial Management: Manage the budget for your area, optimizing variable and fixed costs for maximum benefit.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee and report on KPI deliverables, leading actions to meet targets and drive business growth.
About You

We are looking for a proactive, self-sufficient leader with a strong background in operations management. You should excel in driving team performance, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and maintaining high product quality while making safety a top priority. A self-starter, you should effectively develop and implement both shorter and longer-term plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs. You should have a proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, manage budgets, and monitor KPIs, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
