Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our Luxury Operations teams at William Grant & Sons. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and managing a high-performing team in Luxury Packaging and/or Wet/Dry Goods Warehousing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop Luxury Operations teams to achieve high performance and engagement, meeting key performance indicators while fostering collaboration in line with company values.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, BRC, Environmental, and Customs regulations, and proactively address safety risks.
  • Operational Planning: Support the development and execution of both the packaging and distribution short and long-term plans, aligned with company objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Create and implement improvement plans to enhance operating costs and efficiency, ensuring successful execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality meets standards by maintaining compliant processes, equipment, and training.
  • Staff Development: Provide support and training to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and addressing skill gaps promptly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Financial Management: Manage the budget for your area, optimizing variable and fixed costs for maximum benefit.
  • KPI Management: Oversee and report on KPI deliverables, leading actions to meet targets.
Requirements
  • A strong background in operations management, with a proven track record of driving team performance and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement operational plans, with a focus on process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address safety risks.
  • Experience in managing budgets and optimizing costs, with a focus on achieving maximum benefit.
