We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our team at Apleona HSG Facility Management. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day processing of invoices and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective invoicing processes.
- Be a point of escalation for team members, resolving queries and providing expert advice.
- Manage the processing of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment to suppliers.
- Review and support the company's expenses process, including weekly and fortnightly payment runs.
- Liaise with the business to drive first-time match rates and identify common issues, implementing controls to remove them.
- Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations on a sample of key/preferred suppliers.
- Allocate resources within the Accounts Payable team effectively, balancing workload and priorities.
- Experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance position with leadership responsibilities.
- Experience with financial systems, including ELO and Navision.
- Desirable experience in UK and European VAT.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Full training and support to ensure success in the role.
- A competitive annual salary of £25,200.
