About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers across the organisation.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Lead on workforce planning and talent management initiatives to ensure the Trust has the right people with the right skills to deliver its objectives.
  • Manage and develop the HR Business Partner team to ensure they have the skills and expertise to support the organisation.
  • Provide coaching and development support to managers and employees to enhance their HR skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality HR service across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Chartered Membership of CIPD (MCIPD).
  • Significant experience of working in a senior HR role, preferably in a healthcare or public sector organisation.
  • Proven track record of delivering HR strategies and initiatives that have a positive impact on organisational performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders, managers and employees.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex HR issues.
