Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable primary school in London. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in the Early Years setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Provide Support to Children:**
    • Work closely with the Class Teacher to identify and address the additional support needs of students.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student learning and development.
  • **Plan and Execute Enriching Activities:**
    • Design and deliver engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
    • Collaborate with the Class Teacher to plan and execute lesson plans.
  • **Cultivate Positive Relationships:**
    • Build strong relationships with the Class Teacher, other staff members, and students.
    • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure seamless support.

Requirements:

  • **Essential Qualifications:**
    • Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
  • **Desirable Experience:**
    • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting within a mainstream school.
    • A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
    • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.
