We are excited to present an opportunity for an HR Consultant to become a vital part of Delt Shared Services Ltd.

Are you a seasoned HR professional eager to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization?

This role is perfect for someone passionate about human resources, providing exceptional advisory services to our clients, ensuring every interaction is positive and productive.

As the primary contact for all inquiries related to employment relations, case management, and HR protocols, you will report directly to the HR Business Partner. Ideally, you will possess a generalist background, offering HR advice to managers across various issues. Your main client will be Transforming Futures Trust (TFT), making experience in the educational sector a significant advantage. While you will primarily work with TFT, you will also have the chance to apply your expertise within Delt and with other clients, necessitating flexibility and resilience in your approach.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in assisting a diverse range of managers and employees with HR procedural matters, preferably within the education sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to instill confidence in clients through the advice provided and commitment to tasks.
  • Experience in organizing and executing various HR processes, including guiding managers on all relevant procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in managing employee relations issues and related documentation.
  • A responsive and responsible work ethic.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the HR team, reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be tasked with advising and guiding managers on a variety of HR processes and practices. Leading by example, you will demonstrate a strong understanding and commitment to our core values and principles.

Preferred Experience:

  • Employee relations, including absence management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Handling Occupational Health referrals.
  • Utilizing HR metrics.
  • Promoting health and well-being initiatives.
  • Updating and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Developing and sustaining effective learning and development systems, including performance management and budget tracking.

This position offers a hybrid working model, with expectations for in-office attendance a few times a week alongside the team. Therefore, we will only consider candidates who can realistically commute.
