Job Description

Thrive Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team on a short-term, temporary assignment. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative, financial, and organizational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the office manager in managing administrative tasks, including email and letter correspondence.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping, adhering to absence management and reporting procedures.
  • Assist with financial tasks, such as invoicing and working with the wider team.
  • Provide front-of-house support, including answering phone calls and monitoring daily attendance.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including arranging appointments, reporting accidents, and arranging transportation.
Requirements:
  • A valid DBS check, completed within the last 3 months.
  • A minimum Level 4 (A-C) qualification in English and Mathematics.
  • Strong ICT skills and proficiency in Microsoft/Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Similar experience working within a school or administrative setting, with a broad understanding of administrative processes.
