We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Helpdesk Administrator to join our team at Personnel Placements. As a key member of our technical team, you will provide administrative support and technical assistance to our clients and internal staff.

This role offers a competitive salary of £23,000 - £26,000, depending on experience, and a standard working week of 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • IT Asset Management: Oversee the inventory and maintenance of our IT assets, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Internal Support Requests: Receive, manage, and resolve internal support requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders for IT equipment and supplies, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Supplier Interactions: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Stock Management: Maintain and order stock levels, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet client demands.
  • Quote Generation: Prepare and send out quotes to clients, providing detailed estimates for services and products.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the helpdesk and relevant departments, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Basic IT Troubleshooting: Offer basic IT troubleshooting and support to internal staff, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and produce monthly statistical reports, providing valuable insights into our operations.
  • Travel: Regularly visit company offices in various locations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with our teams.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly finance reports, providing critical support to our financial teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail, excellent literacy and numeracy skills, and a strong background in administration.
