Key Responsibilities

Recruitment:

  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle for specialized positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment plans.
  • Maintain an updated candidate pipeline and cultivate a network of potential applicants.
  • Foster strong relationships with the Recruitment Admin Team to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback.
  • Assist in interviewing candidates for senior management roles.
  • Build connections with clients, branch management, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage a redeployment list to retain employees during TUPE and restructuring processes.
  • Lead recruitment initiatives and draft job postings as necessary.
  • Address recruitment challenges by escalating issues to management.

TUPE Transitions:

  • Lead and manage the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) processes, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation.
  • Conduct due diligence, consultations, and communications with affected personnel.
  • Work alongside management and legal advisors to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Provide support and guidance to both incoming and outgoing employees during the transition process.

Employee Relations:

  • Address concerns and complaints raised through the company whistleblowing platform by conducting thorough investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Support the management of long-term sickness and flexible work arrangements.
  • Facilitate Supporting Abilities Passports with employees and managers.
  • Manage organizational restructuring processes.
Essential Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in internal or volume settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a HR Generalist role, with strong knowledge of TUPE and employee relations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently in the field and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Preferred:

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
