Job Title: Registered Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Location: South Gloucestershire

Salary: £50,000 per annum, based on 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our new children's home in South Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a small three-bedroom home, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with social and emotional needs related to Autism, ADHD, and Trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of dedicated support staff, providing guidance and supervision to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
  • Child Development: Support children to achieve their full potential, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Home Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and qualifications to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Qualities: Proven leadership experience in a residential care setting, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Care Experience: Significant experience of working with children with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Trauma.
  • Qualifications: Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Children's Care.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and external agencies.
