Children's Home Director

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to join our team as a Registered Manager at one of our children's homes in South Gloucestershire. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the recruitment, supervision, and training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and experience to provide exceptional care and support.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Ensure the home is a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors, maintaining high standards of health and safety and risk management.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the home operates within financial constraints.
- Contribute to the development of the home's policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with company values and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in a residential care management role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
- Hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Children's Care or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
