About the Role

As the Children's Home Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of several three-bedroom children's homes. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a positive and supportive environment for both staff and the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to residential teams, ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, conducting interviews and selecting qualified candidates for various roles within the homes.
  • Implement robust systems for monitoring compliance with statutory obligations and relevant legislation, safeguarding the well-being of all children.
  • Conduct regular reviews of each home to assess operational effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure a high standard of care is consistently delivered.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life for children in our care, promoting their emotional, social, and educational development.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in managing residential childcare settings, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, children, and external stakeholders.
  • A strong commitment to child protection and safeguarding principles, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, allowing for efficient task prioritization and completion.
