Job Title: Registered Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our small three-bedroom home in South Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest level of care and support for the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment, supervision, and training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and experience to provide exceptional care and support.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Ensure the home is a safe and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff, maintaining high standards of health and safety and risk management.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the company's vision and values.
- Contribute to the development of the home's budget, ensuring effective financial management and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a residential care setting, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
