We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our brand new children's home in Bristol/South Gloucester. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptionally high standards for the management of the home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the children and staff.
About the Role
The Registered Manager will provide leadership, direction, and support to the team, ensuring that the home environment is conducive to the children's well-being and development. You will be experienced in managing teams in residential settings and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to children
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the home is safe and secure
- Work closely with external agencies, such as social services and healthcare providers, to ensure the children's needs are met
- Monitor and evaluate the home's performance, making recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
- 2 years' experience working in a residential children's home or similar setting
- Level 5 Diploma qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of managing teams in a residential setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders
