About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to join our team as a Registered Manager at one of our children's homes in South Gloucestershire. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a dedicated team to provide high-quality care and support to children with social and emotional needs related to Autism, ADHD, and Trauma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment, supervision, and development of a team of care professionals to ensure they have the skills, experience, and training needed to provide exceptional support to the children in our care.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the children's care plans are tailored to their individual needs and provide a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the home and maintain high standards of care and safety.
  • Collaborate with other managers and stakeholders to achieve the goals and objectives of the Phoenix Learning & Care Group.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a residential care setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and be part of an on-call rota to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
  • Hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Children's Care or equivalent.
