About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a key member of our anaesthetic department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics, you will be responsible for providing anaesthetic services to patients across a range of specialties, including Bariatric surgery, General surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Maxillo facial, Urology, and Gynaecology. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to the development of our anaesthetic services.
Requirements
- Basic medical degree
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- Four years post-graduation, with two years in the relevant specialty
- FRCA
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Breadth of experience in and outside specialty
- Experience and ability to work in multi-professional teams
- Understanding of NHS / Clinical governance / Resource constraints
