About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our dynamic Maxillofacial Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive oral surgery service, including head and neck surgical dermatology procedures. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive oral surgery service, including common oral surgery procedures and head and neck surgical dermatology procedures under local anesthesia and general anesthesia without supervision.
  • Contribute to the supervision of junior staff within the department.
  • Participate in the middle-grade on-call rota on occasion when rota gaps appear.
Requirements
  • Basic medical degree and/or basic dental degree.
  • Full GMC and/or GDC registration with a license to practice.
  • Four years post-graduation, with two years in the relevant specialty.
  • Higher degree.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in the diagnosis and management of all common oral surgical, oral medicine, and head and neck skin conditions.
  • Experience of management of Oral and Maxillofacial trauma.
